BEACON INVITED TO PARTICIPATE IN MD GOVERNOR O'MALLEY'S TRADE MISSION TO BRAZIL

BEACON's President, Harry O'Neill, is an invited delegate to Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley's Trade Mission to Brazil.  The purpose of the trade mission, which will visit Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro from Dec. 1 to Dec. 7, 2013, is to promote and strengthen partnerships between Brazilian and Maryland businesses, academic institutions, and government agencies. BEACON  has worked on multiple environmental projects in Brazil and other Latin American countries employing the company's advanced sampling methodologies to cost effectively perform high-resolution site investigations. BEACON applauds the Governor on his work to increase trade opportunities with Brazil, which has the world's seventh largest economy.  BEACON has been successful in exporting our services and capabilities to Brazil and other Latin American nations that are making great strides to remediate contamination and improve the water quality for their people.  As recognized experts in the environmental industry, we are proud to accompany the Governor on this important trade mission.
